It’s called MAGIC MUD for a reason! Check this out! One of my geldings got himself impaled during the night and, yes, I stuck my finger in it to check for objects.
The normal equestrian would probably call the vet! Honestly since using Thermal Mud, I can’t remember the last time I needed one!
I applied the Mud 3 x per day for the first two or three days, thereafter, simmering down to twice per day, then once per day. After only TWO WEEKS the wound had closed up, swelling had disappeared and he was completely sound with only a tiny scab as evidence that there was ever an open wound!
